EXPERIENCE
A Legacy of Aviation Representation in Latin America Since 1975
Founded in 1975, ACT (Asesores Centroamericanos de Turismo, S.A.) was established to represent transnational corporations within the airline and tourism industries across Central America. From its inception, ACT has served as a trusted General Sales Agent (GSA) or Commercial Representative for international carriers and global tourism brands seeking structured market entry and revenue growth in the region.
What began as an operation in Costa Rica soon expanded to cover the seven Central American markets building one of the most established tourism representation networks in CENAM.
ACT has supported airlines through strategic market development initiatives, including the implementation and servicing of the German Charter Airliner LTU’s online Düsseldorf-Miami–San José route for over fourteen years. As a result ACT became a pioneer in developing European tourism to Costa Rica, and from there to Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.
As a result of the successful operation in CENAM, China Airlines appointed ACT as its regional office since 2002, initially for Central America, which later expanded to the South American markets and the Caribbean.

Strategic Relevance Today
ACT’s historical role as a structured, on-the-ground commercial representative directly informs the foundation of ACT Aviation. The same disciplined origination model, executive access, and regional intelligence developed over decades now support aircraft leasing initiatives and aviation partnerships across Latin America.
Today, ACT maintains active commercial reach across Colombia, Perú, Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, as well as the Central American and Caribbean regions. Building on decades of structured airline representation and revenue development, ACT Aviation now extends this platform to include Passenger and Cargo Aircraft Placement Support — providing disciplined origination, executive-level access, and market-aligned representation for global aviation partners seeking growth in Latin America.
